How do I sync selected photo albums to iPad with iTunes?

I am unable to sync selected photo albums from Aperture to my iPad with iTunes.

If I select, "All Photos, Albums, Events and Faces", all photos are synced, and are grouped by date.

But, if I select "Selected Albums, Events and Faces", no Albums are synced. The Aperture "projects" are grayed out for selection in iTunes, but I do see albums, which I checked. But they are not synced.

How can I solved this problem?

Using Mavericks, iTunes: 11.1.3, iPad OS7 on an iPad 4.

thanks, Kevin

First guess is you have to generate previews inside aperture for there to be something to sync from iTunes to your iOS device.

In my experience iTunes can/will only transfer photos to iPad if you have generated a preview inside aperture. I control which photos go to iPad/iPhone by selecting wanted photos and only generating previews for those ones.

There is also a bug apparently at the moment where the "selected albums" feature in iTunes is greyed out, but it sounds like this is not affecing you.
