I have a 2010 Imac with the original wireless mouse. Lately, the cursor keeps freezing and I get an error msg on the screen that says, "connection lost." After about 5 seconds or so, the connection resumes. It's happening more and more frequently. I just checked my battery and it's at 49%. Could my mouse be dying?

The mouse could be faulty, but....
Try making the mouse a favorite. Then reset the PRAM and SMC.

Look if the pc is authorized to turn off the mouse for energy economy...if its the case, cancel the authorization !
