Q: I got an iPad air to my wife but my Apple ID shows on it instead of hers

I gave an iPad air to my wife, I had a mini pad but for some reason my Apple ID shows up on her iPad very time we download an application or want to buy a pass an game, any answers of how I can set up her iPad with her Apple ID.
