problems while updating to 7.0.4

While updating to 7.0.4, my iphone went into restore mode. It now is requesting/demanding that I connect to iTunes, i had to do an update on iTunes, then when I connected the iPhone to the computer and software, it is still not recognized. I already did all that Apple support page recommended, with the Apple mobile device in my PC services, I also uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted my PC, So what else can I do besides going to talk to one of the geniuses at the Apple Store, which is an hour away and it is 1:30 am.

iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.4
