I have used Cubase, Cakewalk, Rosegarden. To produce music for many years, nothing big just a hobby.

Seen Logic Pro used in studios and never been able to afford the hardware.

So having seen a secondhand Apple desktop, I thought I'd take a chance and see if it would work for me without spending a fortune.

Really impressed by the engineering and OS.  Recognises all my external MIDI hardware and generally does what it should.

However I am confused as to wether I need to buy a secondhand older Logic version or try to upgrade the system and buy new?

Apple support does not seem to be available for this poor old desktop.  So any advice greatfully received thanks!
