Noticing my Apple TV ethernet connection keeps dropping and renewing every minute or so while idle. Anyone noticing this? Started seeing this after the latest firmware update.
Power cycle the ATV.
Remove and reseat the network cable.
Power cycle the hub/switch/router that the device is connected to.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
I noticed this behavior also on my Apple TV since the latest firmware revision. As I have a switch standing on my desk I was wondering what was happening with the ethernet port. Actually I swapped my XBOX cable with the Apple TV and it's also happening on the other cable/switchport so definetely something with the Apple TV. I tried to factory restore the Apple TV and it's still the same...
Same here! On a Cisco Catalyst 3550-24PWR. No symptoms and Apple TV works just fine. The only problem is that it litters the logging facility with up/down messages.
