It seems that on my iPhone 5 64GB running 7.0.4 (Verizon) no longer asks if I want to start guided access when I triple click the home button. Instead it automatically starts. This no longer lets me setup the settings before starting guided access. I have already tried disabling and re-enabling, and rebooting the phone.

Go to settings>general>accessability>guided access. Make sure it is turned on and that you have the triple click the home button feature turned on. Then check under accessability shotcut and make sure it says "ask."
When I go to the accessability shortcut menu, all I see is the image below. I don't see an ask option.
That's becasue Guided Access is the only one checked. You can put checks on multiple options, adn then it will switch to "ASK"
Thanks a lot, This works, but still does not solve the original problem unfortunately. Even after is asks and I select Guided Access when triple clicking, it still starts Guided Access without any prompting at all. This prompt is where I should be able to setup areas on the screen that I want disabled as well as tap the start button. Instead it just starts without any prompting at all. Is this how yours works as well? Perhaps this is changed in the latest version.
When I turn on Guided Access, I can then circle slected areas to disable, and then hit start in the upper right hand corner. If yours is not doing that then I would reset all settings, and try it.

Unfortunately now I have to go through all my settings and make sure they are setup correctly.
