Q: How do I Spotlight search?

Swiping down on my iPhone home screen does not reveal a search cell. I am using an AT&T 4s with ios7.0.4. How do I Spotlight search?

Short swipe down from the top edge of screen should do the trick.

Thanks Kappy, but "top edge" does not work. I read another comment that the swipe down has to be from the middle of the screen (NOT the top edge) and that works for me. Apple needs to change the written instruction.
