How do I put a custom kit together in Logic X?

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the drummer in Logic X and was wondering if anyone could guide me through the process of creating this kit:

Pearl reference:

10" tom

16" tom

Kick, snare

high hats

2 different crashes

1 nice ride

2 different size chinas

2 different size splashes

I'm not entirely sure but I think I just have the basic content that comes with it.. I just want a 4 peice kit with a custom cymbal array and nothing in addition.

Any help would be insanely appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Well, are you bound to using Drummer? Or would it work for you to use UltraBeat? Guess that depends on how depended you are on automatic playing. When you can use UltraBeat, fire it up, load the preset Drag&Drop Samples and fill every sample in by yourself.

ha, i found this thread looking to see if anyone else found some chinas. there are some china like sounds in the asian kit in ultrabeat but not much. ultrabeat does a have a million bleep/bloop type sounds though so you can get your rave on, which does nothing for me.

cool I'll check outultrabeat - I too am looking for some good cymbals - really not thrilled with what I am hearing on most kits.

also looking for Choaked cymbals - crash cymbal 'stopped' by a hand pinch -

drummers will know what I mean -
