I recently downloaded seven new songs onto my iTunes library. I keep syncing my iPhone but it won't put the new songs on the device. What can I do?

I've been having the same problem for quite a while now and nobody seems to have the answer. When you connect your iPhone, when you get to "On This iPhone" do the songs appear like this?
I've got the exact same problem! Not only that, but I can't get playlists or songs ripped from CDs to sync either.
Yes they do! Nothing actually get's put on the iPhone!
i just got a new macbook and i cant get about 100 songs to sync that i got from new cds, and also all my old songs that i got from cds wont let me use them on my ipod
I currntly have this issue. What I have figured out is you can "manually add" them...but then what's the point of the check marks? Makes the process 10x longer than what it needs to be. Really Apple? Why change what isn't broken!! Frustrated. Why make my life difficult? What happened to "ease" of use?!! Grrrrrr........ makes me want to drop iTunes like others are!! Iphones work fine with google play, just saying.
