ical will not allow me to change the alert email address. I've done the standard stuff: added and deleted my contact info and made it my card, deleted the address ical insists on using, restarted. No dice. Please help!

The email address ical is using is a hostile co-worker. He had access to my mac air for a brief period. Is is possible he _did something_ that is preventing me from having my own email address be the default address for ical alerts?

Hi,

This Terminal command should remove all stored default email alerts from iCal. Copy the long single line below into a Terminal window and press Return.

defaults delete com.apple.iCal 'PersistentMenu-lastUsedAlarms'; defaults delete com.apple.iCal 'PersistentMenu-lastUsedAllDayAlarms'; defaults delete com.apple.iCal 'PersistentMenu-lastUsedTimedAlarms'

Best wishes

John M
