File Sharing - unwanted folders

I'm working on getting my laptop set up to share my public folder. I got that working.

However, others for some reason can also see my ENTIRE - I mean ENTIRE - everything that is on my laptop too! So, my Desktop, all folders, music... simply everything! When I got into my system preferences the only folder that is specified to be shared is my Public Folder, so what is going on here??? Why is everything else being shared even though it is not specified in my system preferences under Sharing?!

It's driving me crazy! I even went and checked the preferences to my homefolder and the little box before "Shared" is UNCHECKED!

I need help! Nothing makes any sense!
