Do a reset by holding the power and home button until the apple logo appears ignoring the slide to power off (no data loss).

May 1, 2014 11:27 PM in response to jdcrisman2002by bmprinz,go to settings and then scroll down to passcode (in red under "Sounds"), then turn passcode off. it will require you to enter your current passcode to do so. I just turned mine off and it worked just fine.

Jun 4, 2014 2:58 AM in response to jdcrisman2002by bicesz,you might have some application`s running which have a passcode set as a necessity, for instance i have MS exchange not working without a passcode set.I would have to delete the actuall Email, exchange account to be able to switch off passcode at all.
