Alarm for Reminders?

Hi!

If I set an alarm for a reminder for today, will it give a notification every day until I mark that it is complete? Or will I have to use the "daily" button for the alarm?

I'm hoping to get an alert/notification every day until the due date. Is this possible for Reminders?
