I left my Ipad mini charging over night, this morning it did not want to turn on also the side where you put the sim card in is giving out heat i'm guessing this is where the battery is which is a little concerning. what shall I do? I s it best to let it cool down and then try and turn it on or take it to an apple store?

thank you for your advice however the Ipad will not turn on and seems to be getting hotter and hotter I have left it alone for about an hour still and it is hot to the touch.
