Q: i need your help

None of my apps are showing up on the home screen.

Last night when i would click the message app it would seem like it would go to but a blank white screen would show then go back to the home screen.

Same with the twitter app i would click it and it would seem like its connecting to it but a blank screen would show.

I left it alone all night and when i woke up this morning i took it off the charger and my apps are still gone.

Its showing a blur white bar at the bottom where my main apps are but nothing is appearing.

If i slide my screen over it shows my utlities app square but theres no apps in it.

I need help asap

Quit all apps (Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up)
and
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

I did the first part but how do i reset it by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons

Hold both buttons together and don't let go until you see the Apple logo.

It may be time to get it fixed.

I guess you can try a backup and restore.

Theres a place in my town that will fix the lock button for $20 but i cant afford to buy another phone

These glitchy kind of things are typically fixed with a reset especially if you just updated iOS.
As I said, a backup and restore should take care of it too but you really should look into getting it fixed.

yeah i downloaded ios7 and i regret it now. i'll look into getting it fixed or going to the apple store thanks agian
