Separate recurring events

Hi, everyone! Hope you can help me with something. When working with recurring events, is there a way to systematically create a new event for each occurence? Is this even possible?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Hi,

I don't think this is possible in Calendar. Why would you like to do it?

I'm using a PM program that can import .ics files into its own internal calendar. Unfortunately, it doesn't recognize repeating events as such.
