Q: Error 3194 - Secure Server connected iPhone 4S 64gb

Need some assistance!

Getting error 3194 when trying to update my iPhone 4S 64GB from 6.0.1 to 7.0.4

Installed the latest itunes, checked host file, turned firewall off, turned antivirus off, turned malwarebytes off.

Diagnostics app days im connected to the secure server

Cant see anything wrong, my pc has never had an issue updating before

I would just update via the iPhone but it just sits on checking for update.

Any ideas?

I did before i even posted on here.

You will notice i have checked off everything it tells you to do, and got it connected to the secure server that authenticates it.

Yet still 3194?

Sounds like your network has smart firewall if even phone is sitting checking for update.

I will login to my router and see

Although the not finding ios update is on any network or data connection

It got the message for ios7 when it launched, yet never actually found the update.

The router did have a basic firewall which has been disabled, I passed the normal point where i got 3194 but got a 6 effor soon after.

DFU mode was on due to half an update, the restore and update worked.

Just restoring my files from a backup
