How do I brighten video in iMovie for Mavericks?

Since Apple likes to update their software without telling people the changes they made or how to access their old menus in the new interface, I am confused. I want to brighten a video. I don't want to use the new chance feature. I want to brighten a video like in the old iMovie but the settings and control panels are missing and I can;t find them. Where are they and how do I access them again? Thanks,

Hi Schmitty,


Click on the Adjust tool at the top right of the window (just above the Viewer). A range of icons (tools) will be revealed below the Enhance and Adjust tools. The second icon is labelled Color Correction (hover pointer over the icon to reveal the name). Click on that icon to reveal three separate sliders. If you hover the pointer over the slider buttons you will see the action for each button.


The adjustments include: shadows, contrast, brightness, highlights, saturation and temperature. See the following screenshot (click to see a larger image):
