My mac book pro will begin to turn on but there is no chime. There is not picture. Please help.

It might help us to help you if we knew which MBP you have (year, model number, CPU speed, screen size).
Your best bet might be to take it to an Apple Store "genius" bar and have them take a look at it (free).
I have a Mac Book Pro model A 1226. The year not very sure but I bought it between 2006-2008.
EDIT: scratch what I had originally written in this post, you have an earlier MBP.
You can take it to a "genius" bar, but I don't think it's going to help. Your machine also had a troublesome GPU and logic board, but there never was a repair program for it. Replacing the logic board/GPU would not be cost effective. You could ask them about a flat rate/"depot" repair, but I don't know if they offer it anymore. It used to be $300 and they'd fix everything wrong with the MBP. Doesn't hurt to ask.
