I have two problems with my new iPhone5c, 1.) while talking on the phone, my face or earrings touch the screen buttons i.e. face time, mute, end, speaker etc. 2.) Different screens will lock up and I have to shut phone down - recent scrn, & unlock scrn.

I can't find the "Assistive touch

" option on my phone.

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.4

The phone has a proximity sensor to turn off the screen when it is near your face. If that is not working try a reset of your phone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

If that doesn't help Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
