labeling software

What would be the best CD/DVD labeling software? Not to directly print onto the media but to apply as a stickon. Currently I have Neato's MediaFace for my old HP PC.

I make labels with PrintShop and I've used Discus which has a pretty unMac like interface - but hey, it was free with Toast. The Stomper application tool and labels are just about the best for getting the label on precisely straight without wrinkles.

And now for the obligatory word of warning. I don't hesitate to use paper labels with drives that trays...but not in slot loading drives. There is a remote chance that the label will begin to separate and get stuck. Remote doesn't mean never - remote means that at our shop we have a few customers a year who bring in their Mac with a stuck disk caused by a paper label.

kenneth:

As SDIllini mentioned do not stick labels on a disk for labeling purposes. It is a recipe for disaster. The Epson line of printers R200 on up do an excellent job of printing on printable disks. SDIllini mentioned the Epson software. I use Discus. I found it to be so much more powerful and easier to use. They have a demo that you can try out also.

I get my printable CDs and DVDs, Ritek 4x, at Americal.com in bulk. Very reasonable.
