Sometimes, screen flickers prior to this, as if it were overheating. Already restored to factory defaults. Nothing. Works fine when idle, but crashes when i attempt to do anything. Any ideas?

EDIT: occaisionally crashes when I do stuff.
You may want to try this:
1. Backup iPad
2. Setup iPad as new. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
3. Test iPad thoroughly
4. If everything is fine, restore backup to iPad
I did that yesterday. Reset, and worked like a charm. Left overnight to charge. All fine. Go to start installing apps: crashes.
Maybe that particular app is crashing the iPad.
I don't think so, it crashes whilst booting up, whilst in settings, anywhere. Seems like its just when it uses a bit more CPU than when idle. I'm taking it to my local apple store in a couple hours.
Have you tried closing all apps in multi-task window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen
Yep. I've tried all I can think of. I just reset it to be safe, and it seems to be working, but I'm still gonna take it in just to be safe. After all, it worked after yesterdays reset, but crashed today.
The iPad 4 actually have a very good track record. I bought one last month because of that.
