Certain websites will automatically prompt the AppStore to open, is there a way to disable this?

I love manga and when I go on mangapanda.com to view new chapters, it will always open the AppStore randomly and display whatever app ads it was displaying on the website. Is there a setting on safari or AppStore to turn it off? Because it is extremely annoying. Thanks in advance for anyone with a solution!

This same thing is happening to me. In fact I'm on manga panda also & with every page I turn to it does this crap. There needs to be a way for this to be disabled since there are ads already all over the **** place. I shouldn't be forced to continuously be redirected by a **** ad on sites opening up apps on my phone they've no business having access to in the first place. This is like telling the sales people in the mall you have no interest in the perfume/cologne they're selling but they spray you anyway as you're trying to walk away.

Though it may be pointless, we may have to search for a new site to read from. Either that or read via a non apple lap/desktop.

The setting would need to come from the website. The website you are visiting is doing this and no setting with the App Store can prevent what the website is doing in this regard. The website detects you are visiting the site with mobile Safari on an iOS device which is why you are Apple App Store ads. If you were using an android device, you would not be prompted with ads for Apple's App Store.

This issue is not restricted to any one site. I experience this "hijack" on multiple sites, and have even had it pause a YouTube video I was watching and switch to the App Store. To call this a website error is a copout- this is a vulnerability that has been exploited in the most annoying way possible. I experience it on both safari and chrome, as well as the Facebook app, so it's not a browser issue at all IMHO.
