Iphone 5 - since updating to 7.0.4 battery life seriously impacted

ever since updatiung to 7.0.4 on Iphone 5 - 5-6 hours standby at best. location, wifi, bt off. what the heck happened. I tried blowing the phone away - restoring to factory - letting the battery die completely - short wait - and recharge fully. no joy

iPhone 5, iOS 6, 32 GB ram available

All of my stuff is set as explained in this webpage above. I still see a 8 to 10 % battery life loss per hourat rest. If I use the phone apps, texts, calls I drop 1 percent per minute of use..... That is absolutely un-usuable for business. Would hate to buy a galaxy.
