Looking to buy a non-apple AC router with time machine support

I currently have a previous generation Airport Extreme (Wireless N). I am having issues using this router with xbox live (known problems due to the AE not supporting UPNP). I am looking to buy a different router and since we have 3 other macs in the house, I'd like this router to be AC (one of my rmbp's supports it) and support backup to external drive via time machine. is such a thing exists ?
