Q: Remote app loses connection to itunes with homeshare

My iPad remote app frequently loses full connectivity with iTunes. That is, in this mode I can see the elements of my library but when I choose to play a song the app does not respond. One workaround is to kill the app and restart it. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Try turning off the "Stay Connected" option inside the "Devices -> Settings" menu.

It has seemed to alleviate Home Sharing "dropping" for an entire day now, which is a first for me in years. I hope it may help for you as well!!
