Best book to learn Objective-C for a complete beginner to programming?

Hello I'm new to programming, I have no experience at all in programming. I've just started learning java for a module at university but I really want to learn how to write iPhone applications. Can anyone recommend any books that a beginner can read and actually follow?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4

With no prior programing experience it will not be easy. You have a lot to try and learn and doing it on your own will make it even harder.

For a total beginner with no C background (Objective-C is based on C) Programming in Objective-C by Kochan is a good choice.

iTunes U has a number of courses you should check out. And looking to see if there are nay course at a local Community College or University would also be worthwhile.
