I have some security concerns. Quick question for you all:
I have an iphone 5. If another user with an Iphone 5 logs into imessage via my Apple ID on their device - what would the notification that I would receive on my end? E-mail? Message? Phone notification?

You'll also receive a notification (pop-up message) on your iPhone. It typically says: "(device name) has signed into iMessage using Apple ID (name of Apple ID)." It then asks you to acknowledge the message.

Thanks guys - this is great help! I am having some issues with a craz ex > did not get a notification tough, will change my pasword right away. Just curious - doing that > does it transfer old messages as well?
You would receive an email to the primary email address associated with your Apple ID. But why would anyone be able to log into iMessage with your Apple ID? You DO keep your Apple ID password secret, I hope. And its a good, strong, password, because there is no limit to the amount someone with access to your account could spend.
