Ipod Shuffle is not idicating Orange light

Hey guys , ive Ipod Shuffle .. 2nd generation.. Whenever m charging it its not showing the orange light . it only shows the green light (continuously) .. even when charging ,discharging (playing songs) , even when i connect the Ipod with mac it should blink orange light first , but still it blinks with green light only.. Ipod is not fully charged, even it has 0% battery left it shows Green light, even when battery dies it shows green instead of Red... I've reseted my Ipod many times , tried on someone else's mac (same result) . tried inserting songs from the sretch ... almost tried everything ... Please HELP (yes it is charging but not idndicating Orange light ,Only green)

If you have done a Restore on the shuffle using iTunes, my guess is a hardware problem with the LED. It seem to always light up green instead of orange when appropriate. If it's otherwise still working, I'd just keep using it with the understanding that the battery status is not accurate.


NOTE: Blinking orange light is not related to battery status. It is a warning, DO NOT DISCONNECT (eject shuffle before physically disconnecting). However, it should NEVER blink green (if the shuffle is working properly).
