So if I own a mac I have to BUY something for photo stream to work...but if i own a PC I can download for free????? Am I missing something?

Yes, I have to purchase something to upgrade! I have OSX 10.8.5; iPhoto 8 so I have to spend money but on my PC I was able to do it FREE....so a mac product has to pay but a PC you don't. That is odd. I would think to keep mac users happy the features would be free just like on a PC. This should have been included in that upgrade (which I had to pay for as well). But again...on my PC its free.

there is no Iphoto requriement on a PC so why on a mac!!!

Oh and now I see that the iPhoto requries me to update to 10.9!! OMG....I will just not use this iphone, ipad feature on my mac but on my PC!!!! For once my PC is easier to use! And that is MAC products!!!
