Lithium ion battery charging tips needed, for new iPhone owners.

I know that there have been a lot of talk on how to charge the battery of the previous versions of iPhone but i never really encountered a thread for the 5s.

So this is my question:

How do you properly charge the battery of the iphone 5s?

Because there have been a lot of things bothering me about how to properly charge my battery for Longer battery life or extend its lifespan

I have read some threads regarding fast charging, trickle, etc. And what bothers me the most is that fast charging is from 1% or 20% to 75% or 80%.

I posted something similar to this a few days ago and i charge my phone when the battery reaches 40% and charge it only to 80%.

Is this safe? how will it affect the lifespan of my battery? sometimes i charge it to 90+ but i didnt really make it reach 100%. Is that ok? HELP🙂

The battery in your phone has no memory effect & can be charged whenever you like. You can't overcharge it, & charging automatically stops when your battery is full.

The two biggest killers of Lithium batteries...the kind in an iPhone...are heat & frequent full discharge/recharge cycles. Improper storage will also kill these batteries. So, try to avoid running your battery down to the point where the phone shuts off & keep it away from heat that will also turn the phone off. Do that, & you'll be replacing the phone long before your battery takes a hike.
