I have an inquiry here. I have 5 ipads, the first ipad i've purchased an apps using my apple id. Then I can install the same app in the remaining ipad with the same apple id for free.

My question is, up to how many ipad can i install the same paid apps using the same apple id? is it legal?

It is legal if those iPads are all yours and are based under your roof.

Each individual can use their own Apple ID for Facetime, iCloud and Messages and another for iTunes and AppStore.

Use the Apple ID used to purchase apps in Settings > iTunes & App Stores.

Use the individual Apple ID in:

    Settings > Facetime

    Settings > iCloud

    Settings > Messages
