Widgets in iBooks Mavericks

Hey,

We're having a really annoying problem with widgets on iBooks mavericks. In iBooks on the iPad the close button in top left only captures touch events in the visible area of the close button. However on iBooks mavericks the done button sits within a hidden toolbar which captures all touch events in the top 30px or so of the widget.

If you resize the window to be taller the widget is vertically centered so you can get around it that way, but obviously it's not something the average user would normally do as the window is automagically sized to the right dimension for the book. 30px may not seem like a not but is becoming a real nuisance as we have to adjust our widgets for both mobile and desktop platforms when in reality we should be able to code the same for both.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? Imaginative fixes are welcome too! I'm guessing it's a bug so any feedback from the iBooks Author team on when it might be fixed would be great too!

Thanks 🙂
