Q: I was given a credit for a movie that I couldn't download but was told I'd have to sign out and log back in to see what my total new balance was that I had to spend. How do I log out?

Thank you for the question.  You can sign out and back into the iTunes & App Store on your iPhone using these steps:

Changing your Apple ID account

Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.

Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.

The last step states to sign in with another account, but for the situation you described, I recommend just signing in with your same Apple ID.
