Q: can i update my airport extreme 802.11ac from an ipad 2?

I have a windows pc the only way i can access my airport 802.11ac is using my ios devices. can i run the update using my ipad2 or iphone 4s.

    Now that you know that you can, your next question might be "how", correct?

     

    Do you have AirPort Utility installed on the iPad?  If not, downloand it from the App Store.

     

    Open AirPort Utility on the iPad

    Tap on the AirPort Extreme  (You may be asked for the device password here)

    Tap Version

     

    AirPort Utility will notify you if there are any updates to install
