Q: Difficulty finding source computer during WiFi migration

I'm trying to use my wireless network to migrate data from a Macbook running Leopard, to a MacBook Pro running Mavericks. Both computers are logged into my wireless network, but my destination computer can't find my source computer. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Thanks in advance.

Let me apologize up front for not solving your problem.  I just have a comment.

I tried that once (wireless migration) and I recalled it being a little iffy to get the computers to see each other.  But, what is worse, this method of transfer is SLOW.  It was a few years back, but I think it took about 24 hours once I got it going. Consider using ethernet or firewire - HUGE difference.

Thanks for the reply...I've seen a couple posts saying that. I think I'll just by a Thunderbolt cable tomorrow and go computer to computer. Cheers.
