Nov 28, 2013 6:08 PM in response to uribemeby Najinsky,Hi, I think you may be confusing Permissions and Preferences. Two common steps for trouble shooting are:
Repair Permissions
Delete User Preferences (causing them to get rebuilt when Aperture is next run).
Help document HT3805 describes both procedures.

Nov 28, 2013 9:58 PM in response to uribemeby léonie,Why do you think you need to repair your permissions ? Do you get error mesages?
In the document that Andy linked to "Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics", the permissions repair is explained in the parargraph "Use the Aperture Library First Aid tools" and the loacation of the user preferences in the paragraph "Delete the user preferences".
But removing of the preferences file will rest all preferences you set from the Preferences panel, your layout of the aperture window, the history, the last used Aperture library. Take a note of all settings, before removing the preferences.

Dec 30, 2013 5:51 AM in response to uribemeby musomac,I have tried ALL of the solutions listed here. Used the Aperture First Aid, tried all three options, I've even tried Re-Installing Aperture, and I've even used Disk Utility to verify and repair permissions on all my drives, and STILL I get this error.
This is SERIOUSLY irritating. Something in the order of 24gbs of photographs are currently off limits to me because of this issue.
What am I supposed to do?
Using Aperture on a brand new (few months old) Macbook Pro Retina 15". If it helps, part of my Aperture library was migrated over from a 15" MBP (Core 2 Duo, 2010 Model), but the vast majority was created on this mac.

Dec 30, 2013 6:12 AM in response to musomacby Frank Caggiano,What am I supposed to do?
You can start by creating your own thread and explaing the problem you are having, your OS and Aperture versions, extra hardware etc.
Attaching to a post that is a month old and was lacking in any detail will definity not get you any help.
