I used to use an iPod Touch (2nd generation). Now that I have an iPhone 5S i decided to make it my primary source for media.
I have quite a few audio podcasts that i listen to, there is plenty of available space on my iPhone 5S - 32GB
But when i connect the iPhone to my computer and look at the podcasts, it says to sync ALL AVAILABLE - but when i go to the Sync screen it only shows maybe the most recent 4-5 podcasts.
Very frustrating

can you post a screen capture of the sync screen so we can understand where it show only 4-5 podcasts

You can see the main podcast creen from iTunes on top
And my iPhone Podcast screen only showing specific files even thought ALL is selected on top
Clark Howards shows almost double the Podcasts, and Gary Sullivan right below it shows similar
No matter what i change for the iPhone selection - it's not changing the episodes shown on my iPhone
I've even delted and re-subscribed to podcasts with no difference
thanks for posting the screen shot, seems very odd, will try to duplicate on my itunes and see what happens...
you could try changing "Automatically include" ALL = > ALL UNPLAYED and see if that does anything....

No difference - I just had one podcast update 3 new episodes from today.
I went to my iPhone and it shows only one new episode

weird... as you should have tecnically & logically had all three updates show up if the are unplayed.. I think the podcast app is seriously bugged at the moment.
