How to uninstall LogMeInSoundDriver from Sound?

I have uninstall LogMeIn from system by going to ~/Libary/Application Support and draggin the LogMeIn folder to the trash. I also removed the com.logmein.xxx from Preferences. However, in my SOUND panel, LogMeINSoundDriver still appears. How do uninstall the device "LogMeInSoundDriver" from both Output and Input?

Also, I have another device in Sound panel that I would like to uninstall and that is "Nielsen Audio." Do I really need this if I'm not using Nielsen?

iMac (24-inch Early 2009), OSX 10.8.2

Nothing makes me happier than a ****-correct solution. Removing that pesky "LogMeInSounddriver.ktext" file did the trick, first try.

Now, if we could all stop attacking our politicians and unify in peace, the world would be a better place! Thanks again Apple.

Tried every solution. Nothing worked. But finally this one did. On 'Macintosh HD' go to "system-extensions" and locate and trash 'LogMeInSounddriver.ktext'

Restart and the LogMeIn soundriver will be gone.

In my case the LogMeIn soundriver caused a Facetime Audio failure. After removing everything works fine.

Thanks Dirkmac this worked for me as well. I ran the Logmein uninstaller and searched everywhere for any Logmein files but never found that one until you directed me to it. Logmein was locking me out of Pro Tools. Its gone now, and may Logmein never return! Cheers.

I have no idea how LogMeIn hijacked my internal speakers, and i'm sure you will never see this response, but THANK YOU! Like Tim Wolff, I had already uninstalled LogMeIn and its components. I even used "Clean My Mac" to do the uninstall because I assumed, wrongly, that that program would search out all the nooks and crannies in which associated LMI files would be hiding and trash them. I was wrong. Without your VERY helpful heads-up about the unearthing the 'LogMeInSounddriver.ktext' file i don't know what I would have done!

Thanks again!
