Q: Questions

How can I get my camera roll to save to icloud? I currently have my photo stream on and it only saved the most recent photos I have taken.

Also, once the camera roll is saved to icloud can I delete the photos off my phone?

iPhone 4

Photos taken before Photo Stream was enabled will not be added. Photos are stored in Photo Stream for 30 days so I would keep a copy on your iPhone.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities

Photo Stream deletes your photos 30 days after being uploaded. Note that it's a sync service, not storage.

Respecting to get your Camera Roll photos on iCloud, the only way is to back up your iPhone onto iCloud, which will include your Camera Roll. You can enable it in Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.

After backing up your photos onto iCloud, you will still need to keep them on your iPhone or you won't be able to access to your photos
