Q: where can i download the apple time capsule software?

If you have the very latest AC version TC you may be in trouble.. the 5.6 utility is really only up to Gen4.
The utility includes bonjour and a disk access agent. If you bought a Gen5 TC then use iOS device with airport utility or get a friend with a Macbook to come and help you do the setup.
