There is no specific Hardware. I tried i with my Blue&Me Car Phone-Connection: No connection; Media Receiver: No connection and last my Notebook: No conection. I do not believe that there is a problem with my hardware. The last update is the reason. I also ask google already and there are a lot of threads and prof. reports which refers to the same problem and also see the update as reason for this problems...

Well, when you have had connection to a previous device, when you update iOS, you need to update the connection as well. You need to remove the connections to these devices in the phone, and the phone from the devices. Then put each device into discovery/pairing mode and put the iPhone into discovery/pairing mode and they should reconnect. As far as the notbook is concerned, the iPhone will only connect to a computer via Bluetooth in the case of tethering. There is no other Bluetooth connection between the iPhone and a notebook.

Thx Chris,

But I did it several times without success. For example: I "cleared and remove" my device (car phone connection) and tried to connect it once again. No change. The same result with my media receiver. I do not need the connection to my Notebook or media receiver (just for play) but I need the car connection to phone during driving.

some other "pages" reports about this problem and "hopes" the next IOS uodate will fix this bug.

I am pretty sure that this is no Hardware problem with my Iphone because a lot of colleagues have the same issue since update to 7.04. Do you know the start of Update 7.1?

Honestly it is my first apple device and I am a big fan of Iphone5, so sh*t happens and some bugs are just a "natural happening" but the way of solution and especially the way of communication is important to keep customers stay. So for me it is just important when this issue will be solved by apple and when such info and update will come...

I am just easy thinking. Some goes wrong, Ok, fix it and talk about it. Do not search for faults on orther sides. Just time and energy consuming.

(hope you understand my german-english) :-)

Try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581. It just sounds as if you are not putting your device into discovery/pairing mode. Check the user guide to the vehicle to see how to get that car device into pairing mode. Most of the complaints that I have read here are corrected when the user makes sure they get the car stereo or other bluetooth device into discovery/pairing mode before doing that to the phone and trying to connect.

I am sorry, was not that precise. I am talking about pairing. My device is not being discovered by iphone at all, so is not visible.

To your question about the profiles, it is HFP1.6 just like listed in

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647

But as far as i know, the profile is not important untill you have paired your device and your phone. Only after pairing profile matters, but may be i am wrong.

If the phone is not "seeing" the device, then it appears the device is not in discovery/pairing mode. What does the use guide for the device say that you have to do to put the device into pairing mode. That needs to be done, preferably with the Bluetooth in the iPhone off, then once the device is in discovery/pairing mode, turn the Bluetooth in the phone on. This will put the phone in discovery/pairing mode and it should be discovered.
