print server function of Airport express

We have an IMac and two PC's connected to a dsl router via an eight port switch. Everything works fine. Our printer (Canon ip4200) is connected directly to the IMac by usb. Since we are considering the purchase of a MacBook laptop, I was wondering if an Airport Express can function as the wap for the laptop as well as a print server for the wired IMac and PC's. I would connect the AE to the switch with an ethernet cable. Would this work to allow us to print from the Mac and the PC's or do I need a separate print server for the wired computers? Thanks, Jay
