Mavericks upgrade made my second hard drive disappear. How do I get it back?

Mavericks upgrade made my second hard drive disappear. How do I get it back?

I upgraded to Mavericks this past week and my second hard drive is gone. The second hard drive came with the iMac. Any ideas how I can find it?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Extra weirdness. I can see the second hard drive (Macintosh HD 2) when using a scanning application (Cannon MP Navigator EX) and I can save data to it. I can also view image data from this app.

Work around, but still can't figure out how to get it back in the Finder. In Finder, I went to prefences and ask that my iMac be displayed in the sidebar. When I click on my iMac, I can select the second hard drive. Not sure how to add it back to sidebar.
