My iMessage isn't working?

My messages on my 4th generation iPod are not fully sending. They will slowly send up to 90%, but then stop and the delivery will fail. After looking through different solutions, I have found many that worked for others, but not for me. These include;

Restarting iPod

Reseting network settings

Turning iMessage on and off, while shutting it down

It has been doing this for a few hours and going on and off for the past few months. My iOS is 6.1.5. What could the problem be and how can I solve it FAST?

I cannot receive messages.

I have not tried to connect to another network yet, but I will try that.

Yes, I iMessage them frequently.


I have also noticed that my notifications are not going off. Randomly last night, while I was trying to fix iMessage, a bunch of notifications went off and suddenly iMessage worked again. It of course only lasted for about 5 minutes.

I can send things through other applications, such as Kik and Google Hangouts, and connect to the Internet besides this problem.
