Incremental Backups

My e-mail host offers file storage at a modest cost. I find this useful for backing up critical files. I access the storage with an FTP client. Are there any applications available which would allow me to run incremental backups using the FTP connection?

I used to use Retrospect to do backups to an FTP server at my work. However, unless you reset the backup often, the incremental backups may overwhelm your available space rather quickly. With incremental backup, all changed files in the backup set will be added to the backup. Depending on how you use your Mac and how you set up the backup, the required disk space can be much larger than you might initially imagine.

I agree with David about keeping the backup on a computer or disk that you can access physically, although the concept of off-site backup is appealing.
