Open your System Preferences and select the "Universal Access" panel. Under the "Seeing" tab, set the "Enhance contrast" slider back to Normal. That will fix your problem.

You may have cased this by accidently hitting command-option-control-period (the keyboard shortcut for increasing contrast). To make sure this doesn't happen again, select the "Keyboard & Mouse" panel and uncheck "Universal Access" in the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab.
