Q: Not all of my pictures in Photo Stream transferred to my new PC.  How do I get all of the rest to transfer to my PC?

I just got a new PC and only 212 of my photos in Photo Stream transferred from my ipad and iphone to my PC.  How do I get the rest of them to transfer?

I have the same problem on Windows. Only 40 out of my 400 photos in iCloud download. I have tried signing in and out, turning Photos on and off, uninstalling, rebooting, re-installing - nothing works. I only get 1/10th of my photos to dowload..

    Found this answer:

"Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, which is why your old photos are no longer there.  If the older photos are still in the camera roll on your other devices, import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  If they are in your photo stream album on your other devices, save them to the camera roll, then import them."

I would have liked to know that from the beginning. Fortunately I have a backup. I would not use iCloud for anything important from this point on.
