Where do I find the PIN number on an Apple Gift Card?

Thank you for your reply. I have already registered my redemption code with the Apple online store however when try to apply the credit at checkout, the site asks for the card's PIN number. I entered the redmption code into this field and was told that this was not the PIN. Attempted entering any/all numbers listed on card's back, also received reply "incorrect PIN".
